Current upload checklist
Upload 3–4 photos: 2–3 headshots plus 1 full-body photo.
Use 2–3 clear, closely matched headshots for your likeness signal, then add 1 clear, uncluttered full-body photo for your current build. Three is enough. Use a fourth upload only when it is another equally strong headshot.
- 2–3 matched headshots
- 1 uncluttered full-body photo
- Current face and current build
Quick answer
Three is enough. Four is the useful maximum.
The recommended set for the current Vibeflirting flow is 3–4 photos: 2–3 closely matched headshots plus 1 clear, uncluttered full-body photo. The headshots add identity signal; the body photo helps preserve your current build.
This is a Vibeflirting-specific answer, not a universal rule for every AI photo tool. Some services train from larger sets. The current product is intentionally asking for a smaller, role-based set, so a weak extra image is not useful here.
If your question is about quality rather than count, use the source-photo quality guide. If you need to shoot better inputs today, follow the source-photo shooting guide.
Four-photo plan
Give each upload one useful job.
| Upload | What to use | What it adds |
|---|---|---|
| Photo 1 | Your clearest recent headshot, closest to the output style you want. | The target face, crop, grooming, expression, and overall look. |
| Photo 2 | Another clear headshot with closely matched crop, light, and appearance. | A second identity reference without introducing a competing setup. |
| Photo 3 | One clear full-body photo with your face visible and your whole build in frame. | Current body type and proportions without luggage, clutter, or oversized layers hiding them. |
| Photo 4 | An optional third headshot that closely matches photos 1 and 2. | One more consistent identity reference; otherwise stop at three total uploads. |
Why quality wins
The model learns from what repeats across your uploads.
Source photos are identity references. They help the system learn what is you. A phone covering your face, a cap, a heavy filter, or harsh light that hides your features creates weak signal even when the setup is consistent.
Low variance is the goal across the headshots. Keep their angle, crop, expression, lighting, outfit, backdrop, and current appearance as closely matched as practical. The full-body crop is intentionally different because that photo has a different job.
Better inputs cannot promise a perfect generation, but they reduce avoidable ambiguity. The AI dating photo mistakes guide covers the output side, while the main AI dating photo guide explains how the final pictures fit into a dating-app lineup.
Leave these out
Do not add a bad fourth photo just to fill the slot.
- Blurry screenshots, tiny crops, or compressed social-media downloads.
- Heavy filters, beauty effects, funny faces, or exaggerated expressions.
- Hats, sunglasses, or a phone covering important face detail.
- Group photos, another person's face, or pictures where you are hard to identify.
- Old photos that no longer match your hair, facial hair, build, or current look.
- Mirror selfies where the phone, reflection, or wide lens hides or distorts your face.
- Full-body photos with luggage, clutter, bulky layers, or framing that hides your proportions.
If glasses are part of how you normally look, a clear photo with them can be useful. Still choose images where your eyes and face are easy to read. For a broader pre-upload audit, use the dating app photo checklist.
FAQ
Questions to settle before you upload.
Can I upload only two photos?
Yes. The upload flow accepts 2–4 clear photos. For best results, we recommend 2–3 closely matched headshots plus 1 clear, uncluttered full-body photo so the set includes both likeness and body-type context.
Should I always upload four photos?
No. Three is enough when the set includes 2 strong headshots and 1 clear full-body photo. Use a fourth only when it is another equally strong headshot that matches the first two.
Can my headshots be selfies?
Yes, if they are separate clear photos and your face is easy to read. Match crop, lighting, expression, outfit, and backdrop across those headshots. Use a timer or another person for the separate full-body photo so your build is easy to see. If your current options are all weak selfies, read the bad-selfies profile fix before choosing the final dating-app lineup.
Can I upload more than four photos?
Not in the current Vibeflirting upload flow. The maximum is four source photos. Other AI photo tools may use different limits, so follow the instructions for the product you are actually using.
